Why Seruan Finance

What Makes This Different

An Unhurried Pace

No weekend intensives or rapid-fire modules. Courses run across multiple weeks so the material has time to settle alongside your existing responsibilities.

Singapore-Specific Content

CPF, SGX, SRS, and Singapore Savings Bonds are central to the curriculum — not afterthoughts translated from overseas frameworks.

Small, Considered Cohorts

Each cohort is limited in size so that discussion sessions remain thoughtful and every participant can raise questions without being rushed.

Documents You Keep

Every course ends with a written document — a personal summary, an income plan, or a retirement folder — that remains useful long after the course concludes.

No Selling, No Products

Seruan Finance does not sell investment products or receive commissions. The purpose of each course is clear understanding, not a sales outcome.

Designed for the 40s and Beyond

The curriculum acknowledges where participants are in life — carrying responsibilities, returning to the subject after years away, and planning with a realistic view of the years ahead.

Common Questions

Questions Often Asked

Do I need any financial background to join?

No prior knowledge is assumed in the introductory course. For the income planning and retirement courses, a basic familiarity with CPF accounts is helpful but not required — foundational context is provided in each session.

How are the sessions conducted?

Sessions are held in small cohorts, combining a weekly reading with a live discussion moderated by the instructor. The format is designed to support learners who are returning to formal study after a period away.

Are the courses available online or in person?

We offer both options. In-person sessions are held at our Anson Road office in Singapore's CBD. Online participation is available for those who prefer to attend from home. Please specify your preference when enquiring.

What is the course fee structure?

Fees are S$170 for the introductory five-week course, S$280 for the seven-week income planning course, and S$395 for the nine-week retirement planning course. Fees are per participant and cover all course materials and the final personal document.

Is this course a replacement for professional financial advice?

No. Seruan Finance courses are educational in nature. They are intended to help you understand your financial situation more clearly, not to serve as licensed financial planning advice. Participants are encouraged to consult a qualified adviser for decisions specific to their circumstances.

What if I need to withdraw from a course after enrolling?

Withdrawal requests made more than seven days before a cohort begins are eligible for a full refund. Requests made within seven days of the start date will be considered individually. Please contact us directly to discuss your situation.
